Welcome to Signs at Simplywood
If you are looking for something a little different from the norm, and a gift for the ahh or wow factor, make yourself a cup of tea and take a little browse, we think we have something to suit all occasions and budgets.....
So, who are we?.....We are a small family business and are based in West Wales UK
Andy aka Mr Simplywood cuts the plaques and signs and I work my magic to make something special just for you. Andy has a background in working with wood and I attended Art College... several moons ago.
Everything you see here is individually handmade, from start to finish, using only quality materials and never 'ready to decorate' blanks. We do not use MDF, we use quality timber, although we often stain and distress it to make it appear aged and weathered. We sometimes use reclaimed timber, but we do advertise this on the listing. Most of our work is bespoke and made to order but we also have some ready made items in stock.
Having said that we are always looking for ideas and inspiration and are happy to work to your requirements as we love a challenge and the idea of working in collaboration with you to achieve something individual and bespoke so please do get in touch if you'd like something different. There are various sctions on our Facebook page to give you some ideas and thoughts.
We do not use templates or vinyl, we hand paint our plaques from start o finish.
